August 13, 1955 - May 13, 2020
Our family is deeply saddened to inform you of the untimely passing of Robert (Bob) John Blundon. Bob passed away suddenly on May 13, 2020.
Bob was born on August 13, 1955 in James Town Newfoundland and Labrador to Reginald and Olive Blundon. Bob made his way to the Yukon in the '80s where he worked many different jobs but many of you will remember him as the owner of Sunrise Service Station in Carmacks which he ran with his wife Lolita for 20 years. Bob and Lolita were married in Whitehorse, Yukon on October 11, 1992 and spent 27 beautiful years together raising their daughters, travelling the world and enjoying the many gifts of life.
Bob is survived by his wife Lolita, their two daughters Faith and Hollie (Corey), his son Tyler, his brother Dwight, his sister's Bell, Mary and Joy as well as his loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Bob was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend.
Bob was always there to help navigate through life's challenges and always encouraged his family to live our best lives. He believed in living life in the moment and that life had endless opportunities to be lived. He will be missed greatly. We are saddened by Bob's untimely passing and believe a life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered, a celebration of life will be held next year.
