December 6, 1936 - October 10, 2018
It is with great sadness the family and friends announce Bob's passing on October 10th, 2018. Bob was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on December 6th, 1936.
His family moved to the Yukon when he was a boy and he remained in the Yukon for most of his life. His working years were spent driving truck and bus and he ran his own business Mayo Taxi and Bus Service for 43 years.
In 2009, Bob was inducted as Transportation Person of the Year in the Yukon Transportation Museum, acknowledging his many years of driving service in the Territory.
He will be sadly missed by his longtime partner Doris Roberts, the Adair and Roberts' families and many friends throughout the Territory.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
