Rick was the oldest of 6 boys born to Margaret and Nels Jensen. He was, is and always will be so loved by his wife Smoky, his brothers Carl, Norman, Jens, Douglas and Clifford as well as a large extended family and friends. Rick was an astute businessman, strong, generous and loved his dogs. When he retired he bought a farm in Alberta - having never done this before he listened, learned and taught himself to become a good farmer. There will be a gathering in Alberta at the farm he loved sometime in the next year for family and friends to attend.
Would like to thank Dr. Buchanan and Dr. Barnes for taking care of Rick during his illness.
Also, all the staff at Watson Lake Hospital, Whitehorse General Hospital, Mount Saint Joseph Hospital who cared for Rick during his illness.
A special thank you to Jennifer Anderson of BeeJay's Towing in Watson Lake who got Rick to the hospital and finally to all the staff at Copper Ridge who took such wonderful care of Rick during his stay and were so good to me. He will be be so missed by so many.
