December 8, 1961 - August 24, 2022
Michael was born December 8, 1961 in Leising, Bavaria. He spent his childhood with his parents and the siblings Franz, Marianne and Klara on the farm in Leising.
He discovered his passion for hunting and fishing early on. In 1987 he felt the urge to go out into the world and decided to live in Canada. He found Ethel Lake and the community of Mayo over 25 years ago. He loved the lifestyle and the expansive wilderness in the Heart of the Yukon and never left. It is here he lived his life to the fullest. Summers working for YG highways and winters trapping along with many other interests.
He always kept in touch with his family in Germany. He leaves behind his beloved spouse Terry Moses, his family in Germany, the whole community of Mayo and many friends all over the world.
Heaven gained an Angel today.
Mayo lost a very special friend.
Michael will be forever in all our hearts.
