Born in Alma Ontario March 23, 1928, Marjorie died peacefully in Burlington on April 28, 2018.
Predeceased by her parents Norman and Mabel, her husband Garth, her sisters Enid (Elwin), Elva (Keith), Wilma (Allan) and her Wilfred (Leone). Mom leaves behind four loving children and their spouses (and grand children) Anthony and Angela (Leva and Neve), Raffles and Elaine (Sadie and Tess), Colin and Laurel (Maeve and Cy), and Jocylyn and Peter (Doon) and her twin brothers Morley (Thelma) and Murray (Mavis) and her sister in law, Jean.
Mom lived a wonderful life, full of love for her family and many dear friends. Mom was a bon vivant who lived with style and who loved gardening, travel, cooking, art, and reading. She was skilled at so many things. Swimming and map reading were not among them, but she had sewing, knitting, making preserves and loving all of us, down to an art. She will be missed immensely.
We will celebrate Marjorie's life at the Paletta Mansion at 4520 Lakeshore Road in Burlington, Ontario on Monday May 7, 2018.
The service will begin at 1:00 pm with reception to follow.
