It is with great sadness the family of Leo Wood announces his passing on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Whitehorse General Hospital.
Leo was born in Springhill, Nova Scotia in May 1927. He and Dorothy were married in 1951 and moved to Whitehorse in June of 1954.
Leo is predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy. He leaves to mourn his five daughters Kathryn Horsman (Terry), Janet Wood (Chuck Suley), Sandra Rose (Steve), Karen Wood (Carmon Whynot), Marilyn Novak (Rob King); his brother William Wood, his brother-in-law Dave Terris (Cec); his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Services will be held at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre,
Friday, July 19, 2019 at 2 pm.
