Len moved to the Yukon with his young family in the late 1960's to fill a position as an accountant with the Territorial Government in the Treasury Department. He left the government after a few years to open his own accounting practice in Whitehorse. His specialty was small companies and proprietorships, many of which were clients for over 35+ years.
Len is predeceased by his older brother and two sisters, his son and his first wife, mother of his children. Left to mourn Len are his wife of 36 years, Laverne, her daughter, Wendy and family, and his daughters Trixie, Trina and Trudy and their families, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Len loved his life in the Yukon; he and Laverne did their best to live every day with no regrets. The travel they did over the years was interesting and exciting but it always felt best when heading home.
Len moved to the Whistle Bend Place Continuing Care facility in November 2018 and Laverne joined him in July 2019. They were fortunate to be able to reside together in such a modern facility where the professional, compassionate and caring staff helped them enjoy their best life in a home-like setting.
Len will be sadly missed as a quiet, true gentleman who has left Laverne with many wonderful memories to help fill that void in her heart.
