December 19, 1970 - September 23, 2022
With broken hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Lawrence Walker, in Kelowna B.C. on September 23, 2022, in his 51st year. Lawrence is the son of Brenda Leach and the late Robert Walker. Lawrence was born in Thessalon Ontario and spent many of his earlier years in and around Fort McMurray. He also spent time in Kelowna and in The Yukon.
If you needed to know a date, or remember a name, you could always ask Lawrence, his memory was impeccable. If you needed a job done, no matter how tough it was, Lawrence would get it done. He was an excellent heavy equipment operator and worked in the logging industry in Kelowna. He crafted beautiful bead work and loved gifting his work to those he loved.
He left behind his Mom Brenda, his sisters Joanne and Connie, his children Kalsey, Victoria, Lawrence and Leslie as well as 14 grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by many and we hold our memories dear.
A family gathering and cremation was held in Kelowna on October 5th, 2022.
A graveside service will be held in Thessalon at a later date.
