The kids' participation included cross country skiing, hockey, and table tennis. After many years of spending winters in Arizona and summers at Marsh Lake; John and Donna moved to Calgary in 2005 to be closer to family. While in Calgary he enjoyed playing tennis with his granddaughters and riding his bike along the Bow River.
