Geraldine was born in Mayo and raised there in her younger years and spent a good portion of her life in Vancouver and Whitehorse. Geraldine was a fun loving, caring and happy-go-lucky sort of girl with an infectious smile. She struggled for the last 21 years with brain cancer but had an inner strength as a fighter and was determined that it would not interrupt her life.
She was called "Jellybean" by her grandmother, Ella Moses, as grandma could not pronounce "Geraldine". She became "Jellybean" to family and friends.
She is much loved by her husband, Dennie and sons, Raymond and Brandon and was a huge part of their lives and will be missed deeply.
Geraldine is survived by her mother, Joan Ball, sister Janet (Jack) and brother Vernon (Roberta) and her 2 grandsons.
The family expresses their thanks to everyone that knew Geraldine and for being a part of her life.
Geraldine expressed her wishes that no service be held and the family will be honoring her last wish. A Celebration Life will be held at a later date.
