On Saturday, March 30, 2019, Gary Raymond Acorn passed away. Garywas born on August 19, 1947 in Calgary, Alberta. He was owner/operator of Acorn Auto Centre and Minute Muffler in Whitehorse.
Gary had a passion for sports throughout his life including playing ball and numerous years of golf at Mountain View Golf Course. Gary had the gift of gab and enjoyed discussing his views of politics with his friends during his extended "coffee breaks" at his shop.
He leaves behind his partner in life, Jane Slager and daughter Kim Slager and grandsons, Brett and Tyler Briemon. His children Shawn, Blair, Renee and Pamela; grandkids, Makayla, Clark and Cameron, as well as his sister Sue (Shelly) and brothers Donny and Aaron.
