It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gene, taken away from us much to soon.
An intimate memorial was held on February 8th prior to his cremation.
His strength and support for his family has left a legacy of honour, dignity & unconditional love. Decades of happy and treasured memories have passed with the light that Gene shone on all those he touched.
Gene is survived by his loving wife Debbie, two children Stacy & Cole (Robin) and two grandchildren Dylan & Skye. Many family members and friends.
The family of Eugene Hodinski wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Whitehorse General Hospital, Home Care Program and Medicine Chest pharmacies that offered such kindness, support and wonderful care during his illness.
A very special thank you to Dr. Sally MacDonald and Dr. Danusia Kanachawski for the dedication you gave to Gene's care as well as supporting us all as a family. Your warmth, compassion and attention touched us all deeply. The Yukon is blessed to have you.
May you all be proud of the work you do, the person you are and the difference you make.
