With sorrow the Oles family is announcing the passing of beloved Eliane Oles. She was an avid walker, accomplished painter, exceptional cook and advocate for French culture. Here in Yukon Eliane will be remembered as Madame Oles, for her volunteer work with L’Association Franco-Yukonaise and the many friends she made in Whitehorse and Haines Junction. Eliane was predeceased by her husband Joseph Oles, brothers Albert and George Gamblin and sister Simone Baudouin. She is survived by her older brother Marcel Gamblin. She leaves behind her son, Erick Robert Oles (Frances), grandchildren Natalie (Kevin Moulton) and Thierry Oles (Tracy), great-grandchildren Brendon and Brittany Au, and Tiana, Tyler and Taner Oles.
The Oles family would like to express their appreciation and many thanks for the capable and compassionate staff that have worked with Eliane over these last few years at Copper Ridge Place.
