June 8, 1957 - February 20, 2019
Dan Reams passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 20, surrounded by his family after a six-month battle with cancer. Dan was born on June 8, 1957 in Colville, Washington to Roger and Willa Reams. When Dan was still young his family moved to B.C. and then on to the Yukon while his dad followed 'the call of the wild'.
Dan grew up in the family logging business and became a master log home builder. For many years he operated his own construction company and was involved in the biomass industry. Dan loved to go hunting, quadding and sledding with his family and friends.
Dan will be remembered for his faith and love of family. As his family, we have many cherished memories and are privileged to have had him in our lives and to have been guided by his example.
Dan is predeceased by his mother, Willa Reams, in 2010.
Dan is leaving behind his beloved wife Becky and children Toby (Vanessa), Jesse and Joy all of Watson Lake; also his two lovely granddaughters Makelia and Eliana. He is also survived by his father Roger Reams of Grand Forks, BC.
A celebration of Dan's life will take place later in the spring or summer. His family will be spreading his ashes at the sites of some of their fondest memories.
