Brooks Holloway

April 23, 1955 - July 25, 2019
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Brooks Holloway on July 25, 2019 in Langley after a brief illness.
He leaves behind his wife of 31 years Melinda, brothers Clayton (Sharon), Doug (Pam) sisters Sharon Ferraz, Cecile Balla (Ben), and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Brooks was born in Mannville Alberta in 1955 and spent much of his early years in the Yukon, Alberta and NWT.
Brooks moved to the Lower Mainland in the 1980s to attend BCIT where he completed the Marketing Management program. He went on to become a certified purchasing manager (C.P.M. and C.P.P) and spent over 30 years working in the heavy equipment and automotive industry in supply chain, purchasing and marketing management.
Never afraid to get his hands dirty, if he wasn't fixing problems at work he was fixing things around his home and the homes of friends and family. He was a master at 'MacGyver'ing any problem!
Although he sometimes had a tough exterior he had a really kind and giving heart. Brooks touched the lives of many people. He had a particular soft spot for strays (cats, dogs..and people).
He departed far too soon as he still had many things on his 'To Do' list!
He will be missed terribly by family and friends.
Celebration of life to be held at the Masonic Lodge Hall, 20701 Fraser Highway Langley on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm. A private ceremony for family is also being held at the Norseman Inn, Camrose Alberta on September 14, 2019.
