Bethany (Beth) Jane McIntyre passed away on April 2, 2021 from complications of COPD. She is survived by her sons, Ian McIntyre Smith and Graham (Tigger) McIntyre Smith, her mother Jane McIntyre, her brother Ian McIntyre and his partner Judy Smith, and her sisters Shona McIntyre, Lilace McIntyre, Gwen McIntyre, Bryony McIntyre, and Jocelyn Corothers and their partners and children.
Beth leaves a huge hole in her family's life. One which cannot be filled. She is very much loved and always will be, by everyone and has a personality which will never be forgotten. She is an institution in the community of Judas Creek, being one of the first people to live full time at Marsh Lake. She touched so many different people from all walks of life who will remember her laugh, enthusiasm and love of life.
A celebration of life service to remember Beth will be held at the Church of the Northern Apostles, Porter Creek (45 Boxwood Crescent) on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2 pm. Due to COVID restrictions, a limit on numbers will be placed on attendees. Please contact Bryony McIntyre at 332-3560 to confirm attendance prior to May 29, 2021. The service will also be live streamed on the Church's Facebook page.
There will also be a Celebration of Life at Marsh Lake late spring/early summer. Further details and information will be available soon and people will be notified of the time and day of this event.
