November 22, 1931 - December 17, 2022
The family of Arthur Pierre Henri Vaillant are sad to share that he passed away on December 17, 2022 at age 91.
Arthur was born on November 22, 1931 in Haywood, Manitoba to Jean and Alexine Vaillant and had nine siblings.
He is survived by his wife Bernice of 63 years, children Pamela (Wayne), Donna (Larry), Delvin, Nelson (Maureen) and his sisters Irene and Marie.
Arthur had many skills and worked as a farmer, carpenter, maintenance man, sawmill worker and mill foreman. He worked hard and passed that work ethic to his children and grandchildren.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening but nothing gave him more pleasure than a rousing game of cards and the occasional rum and coke.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Whitehorse General staff, doctors and nurses who provided Dad with excellent care during his time there.
As per Arthur's wishes, the family had a private Celebration of Life.
He will be missed more than any words can express.
