It is with great sadness that the Legris family wishes to announce the passing of Alfred Daniel Legree of Whitehorse, Yukon, on January 20, 2021, at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. He was in his 79th year.
Alfred was born in Sudbury on May 22, 1942, to Daniel & Justine (Berard) Legris. The family moved to Deep River in 1944.
Alfred is survived by his siblings Joan McCarthy (late Robert), Bert (Loretto) Legree, Patrick Legris, and Lynden (Anna) Legris.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Frances Hanniman (late Greg) and brother Daniel (Joanne).
Special thanks to the cardiac unit at St.Paul's Hospital in Vancouver.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 6 at 9 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Whitehorse, YT.
Alfred, you and your music will be greatly missed.
