Yukon RCMP and coroner investigate death in Ross River

A 26-year-old woman died of injuries sustained in an incident involving a motor vehicle, police say

The Yukon RCMP and Coroner's Service are investigating the death of a 26-year-old woman in Ross River.

An April 17 notice from the RCMP states that police and emergency medical services were called to a Ross River residence on April 10. They found Skye Dick, who had suffered injuries "reportedly related to an incident involving a motor vehicle," according to the RCMP notice. Dick died from her injuries. 

According to police and autopsy was conducted and a pathology report will be issued in the coming weeks. 

"Yukon RCMP offer their sincere condolences to the family. The investigation into the death continues," the RCMP notice reads. 

Both the RCMP and the Yukon Coroner's Service declined to provide additional details citing the ongoing investigation.
