Carmacks Mayor Lee Bodie is retiring, making way for a new face for mayor.
Two candidates — Kevin Untershute and Justin Lachance — are vying for the mayor’s seat.
There are six candidates in the mix for four council seats: Dennis Mitchell (incumbent), Cory Bellmore, Azmy Aboulazm, Helena Belanger (incumbent), Tara Wheeler and Doris Hansen (incumbent).
The News sent questions to candidates via the returning officer but didn’t get any responses back.
