The 15-year-old boy accused of second degree murder in the death of Brandie Vittrekwa made a brief appearance in court yesterday.
The teen, who cannot be identified because of his age, was scheduled for a possible bail hearing. It was adjourned until May 21.
Vittrekwa’s body was discovered on Dec. 8 on a walking trail in the McIntyre subdivision of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation community in Whitehorse. She was 17.
