Wine thief sought by cops

A man has been caught on tape snatching wine from the Roadhouse offsales outlet. At around 7 p.m. last Tuesday, a man in a black shirt entered the offsales, grabbed two bottles of wine and ran out.

At around 7 p.m. last Tuesday, a man in a black shirt entered the offsales, grabbed two bottles of wine and ran out, said police in a news release.

An employee pursued the man, who dropped the bottles during the chase. The bottles were not damaged, said police.

The Caucasian male was wearing a black shirt with the words “Elite” printed on the front. His hair is brown and he sports a brush cut. Video stills of the bandit are available at yukonrcmp.ca.
