Update: RCMP say missing man located safe

A search was launched for a 73-year-old man last seen the evening of Feb. 16

Update, 4:10 p.m. Feb. 17: 

According to the RCMP, the 73-year-old man reported missing earlier on Feb. 17 has been located safe

Original Story: 

The Whitehorse RCMP is seeking the public's help locating a missing man in his 70s who may be disorientated.

The man in question is 73-year-old Andy McLeod who was last seen at 8 p.m. on Feb. 16, according to police.

McLeod is described by police as approximately 5'10" tall with a medium build. He has hazel eyes and grey hair and may be wearing a long light-brown jacket and a fur hat. According to a Feb. 17 email from the RCMP he may appear disorientated and police are concerned for his well-being. 

Police are asking anyone with information on McLeod's whereabouts to contact the RCMP at 867-667-5555.
