Police in Whitehorse arrested Wade Glen Thompson on Wednesday for selling fraudulent concert tickets.

Thompson, who’s moved his scam across Canada, has been on the run from outstanding arrest warrants in Halifax, Calgary, Ottawa and Winnipeg, RCMP said in a release.

He’s been charged with three counts of unauthorized use of credit card information, fraud less than $5,000 and fraudulently obtaining food or lodging.

He duped at least one Yukoner into buying tickets to a Michael Buble concert in Vancouver that didn’t exist. There are multiple blogs where people have compiled stories of being swindled by Thompson.

He remains in custody and will appear in court next Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. (James Munson)
