Premier Dennis Fentie is recovering from minor surgery. Fentie will be absent from the legislature all week, said a cabinet spokesman.

Premier Dennis Fentie is recovering from minor surgery.

Fentie will be absent from the legislature all week, said a cabinet spokesman.

He is currently at home in Watson Lake, they said.

They would not reveal what type of surgery Fentie received or when it was performed.

He is expected to return to work next week.
