Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a car Monday before the driver drove off.
Whitehorse RCMP say the 20-year-old came to Whitehorse General Hospital around 1:30 p.m. and told the staff there she had been involved in a hit and run.
She said she was struck by a car while crossing the street in the area of Strickland Street between First and Second Avenue.
She was treated for minor injuries and released from hospital.
Police are looking for a late model Honda Civic, possibly a 1993 or 1994 model, dark blue, four door, with a “RUSH” sticker on the back window.
