Whitehorse RCMP are looking for the person responsible for a bear spray attack last Wednesday near the Salvation Army shelter parking lot.

Police responded shortly after 1 p.m. to a report of a drive-by spraying.

An unspecified number of victims were treated at the scene by Yukon EMS and one woman was brought to Whitehorse General Hospital for additional treatment.

Police say the suspect’s vehicle was described as a brown pickup truck with an extended cab.

Witnesses were not able to identify the licence plate or provide more details, police said.
