The Canada Border Services Agency is closing the Poker Creek-Little Gold border crossing for the season as of 9 p.m. on Sept. 25.
The crossing via the Top of the World Highway will re-open sometime in the spring of 2017 depending on road and weather conditions.
Travellers can use the Beaver Creek port of entry as an alternative border crossing during the winter months.
