The burglary happened sometime between 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, and 7 a.m. the next morning, police say.

One or more suspects broke into the Riverdale construction site office, damaging the place and stealing office equipment.

Police and the Yukon RCMP’s forensic investigative unit are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP.

Highways and Public Works spokesperson Doris Wurfbaum says the break-in does not impact the construction of the new school.
