An eleventh deliberately-set fire was discovered in the vicinity of Mayo this week.
All summer suspicious fires have baffled RCMP and fire officials and put residents at risk.
The most recent fire was discovered Tuesday near the cemetery. It had gone undetected for several days, and had extended its reach to nearly a hectare.
Five fires were discovered near the Mayo bridge on July 31 alone.
All of the suspicious fire activity has occurred close to homes and other property.
Officials have posted flyers around town seeking information from anyone who might know something about the fires.
All wildfires should be reported immediately to 1-888-798-FIRE (3473).
Anyone with information about the suspicious fires should contact the Mayo RCMP at 966-2677 (966-5555 for emergencies).
