Another week of skiing on next to nothing!

Classic skiing is excellent on the McIntyre Loop, and Jackson Lake is still a good alternative for novice skiers.

Most of the Mt. Mac trails are fair for skating, but rock skis are recommended.

Powerline and World Cup 10K through the Raven’s Ridge area are not recommended.

Lower Valley is skiable but rough.

McIntyre Ascent is packed and skiable. Use caution on all down hills — if in doubt, walk down the steep hills.

If skiing the McIntyre Loop, it is recommended to walk or ski up the Ascent or Descent Trail. If driving up the Descent Trail, good winter tires and/or chains and four-wheel drive are essential. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE UNLESS PROPERLY EQUIPPED.

Use caution and be prepared to meet oncoming traffic. The road is one lane most of the way.

The World Cup 10K has been rerouted around the Raven’s Ridge subdivision. Until conditions improve it is best to detour at the Moose Hill connector to Pierre Harvey Trail — there are signs to guide skiers onto the detour.

Wax Suggestions: Rode multigrade blue. As it warms or if you are slipping, use Rode superblue or multigrade violet.

Memberships or day passes are required to use the club trails. Day passes are half price this week.
