A one-year-old girl was abducted from a McIntyre home on Monday.

The child was nabbed from her house at around 8 p.m. by a woman known to the family, according to RCMP.

The woman did not break in and only made it to the front of the house before the father noticed his daughter’s disappearance.

He was able to grab his child, who was not harmed. The woman made a run for it.

Police apprehended the woman in the McIntyre neighbourhood, said RCMP spokesperson Glenn Ramsay.
