The Yukon's snowmobile community tested the performance of their machines in a series of head-to-head races at Mount Sima in Whitehorse from April 26-27.

The 2025 Uphill Challenge saw racers pull away from the start line at the chalet, navigating moguls, jumps, bumps and banked turns before throttling up a steep stretch of the Dan's Descent trail on Mount Sima's alpine ski hill over the weekend.

The Uphill Challenge, hosted by Yamaha Yukon, attracted approximately 200 spectators to watch some high-flying action.

Multiple race classes for every level of rider, from beginners on stock sleds to seasoned racers on high-performance machines, registered to participate in the weekend event.
