At 1:55 a.m Saturday, a 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in the Logan subdivision.
His 22-year-old brother has been charged with second-degree murder.
Alcohol was a factor in the violence.
Police dispatchers received a 911 call requesting an ambulance shortly before 2 a.m.
RCMP and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the residence and discovered a young man had been stabbed.
Edmund Aleekuk was pronounced dead at Whitehorse General Hospital.
Stanley Aleekuk was arrested and remains in custody at Whitehorse Correctional Centre. He will appear in court on Monday, March 12.
