Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash outside of Carcross on August 8 as 51-year old Robert Beaudoin.
The Carcross resident’s body was discovered near his 2005 Harley Davidson, which was found to have veered off the South Klondike Highway near the Carcross Desert.
An investigation by RCMP and the coroner’s office are underway to determine the cause of Beaudoin’s death and whether speed and alcohol-consumption contributed to the crash.
