Whitehorse RCMP have confirmed another sexual assault has been reported in the city.
The incident occurred in Riverdale on Monday night.
But no further details will be released at this time, as it is still a fresh investigation, said Sgt. Tom Wyers.
And this most recent case is not connected to three other sexual assaults reported in Riverdale and downtown since mid-October, he said.
“It is absolutely no way related because the circumstances were totally different,” said Wyres. “But we’re looking into it.”
