An armed robber stormed the front desk of the Airport Chalet with a knife Tuesday night.

Several witnesses saw the culprit, who robbed the clerk of an undisclosed amount of money.

“No physical injuries were sustained,” said Sgt. Mark Groves.

Witnesses described a First Nation man between 18 and 30 who was wearing a white camouflage jacket and blue sweat pants.

“It seems to be an isolated incident,” said Groves.

The forensic investigations unit, the general investigations unit and the major crimes unit are all searching for clues to find the man.

The RCMP is currently reviewing crime scene evidence and examining clues that might shed light on the bandit’s identity.
