Re August 24 letter to the editor by Michael Brauer:

I did read the comment with interest, wondering why nobody from Closeleigh Manor felt compelled, all these many, many last years, to complain about three historical cabins slowly rotting into the ground, but put pen to paper when those same three historical cabins are being preserved, saved and put back to life.

Yes, there is construction material and the mess associated with fixing and moving those three cabins off the ground, adding new logs and floors. And, yes, it is taking longer than anticipated. And, yes, some people seem to consider the site as a dumping ground for their unwanted fridge, or such.

But in due time all three of those cabins will be standing proud with their heritage value saved for all to see and to enjoy.
