As a car-free Riverdale resident and a frequent user of Whitehorse transit, I’d like to express thanks to the city for all the recent and very thoughtful changes to the transit system.

I’m grateful for: the new raised shelter in front of the Riverdale Super A, the route that takes me from there directly to the Canada Games Centre and then directly back again after a swim, the schedules posted at all the bus stops, the very informative new printed schedule, the expanded night service, and more benches at bus stops (especially appreciated by this senior).

Continued appreciation, too, for the patience and friendly courtesy of the drivers. It’s a pleasure to take transit here. I hope more Whitehorse residents will explore the convenience of using the city buses, so that we can continue to enjoy the expanded service.
