Resources Minister Brad Cathers has asserted in the legislature that the Yukon Party stated, prior to the election, that it did not support the Peel Planning Commission’s recommended land use plan. This is untrue.

If he had stated that “the Yukon Party did not state that it supported the recommended plan” I would agree. But “not stating that it supported” and “stating that it did not support” are not the same thing.

Please Brad, don’t twist the language in such a convoluted way that you confuse many, perhaps even yourself. “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.”
