This is a letter in support of the Peel Land Use Planning Commission’s final recommended plan.
Not being a citizen of the Yukon, but being a citizen of Canada, I am shocked at what I’ve seen being proposed. Is there no space left for a sanctuary of nature? Does every bit of majestic Canadian wilderness need to be destroyed in the name of profit?
Is there a better way? Do we stand out among other nations? Do Canadians really care about preserving our land? Our home? This cannot happen.
