A fox’s life is taken; there is an uproar.
An unborn child’s life is taken; there is silence.
Speak out for the fox; get praised.
Speak out for the unborn child; get criticized.
A fox has a right to live (as it should).
A yet-to-be-born child has no rights.
Something doesn’t seem right.
I wonder, what constitutes a civilized society?
What will future generations (if they survive) think of us?
Are we so self-centred that our own interests come before the life of another human?
