The Japanese Canadian Association of Yukon would like to thank the Whitehorse Heritage Festival Society and Solstice Festival organizers, particularly Deb Jutra and Maryne Dumaine, for the opportunity of participating in this year’s festival events.

We enjoyed the opportunity of meeting and working with other ethno-cultural groups in Whitehorse.

We especially enjoyed participating in the intercultural Fashion Show on Saturday and selling sushi at the food concession on Sunday.

We would also like to thank Baked Cafe and High Country Inn for their donation and support of our food concession.

We look forward to more opportunities of sharing our culture and heritage with Yukoners. You can watch for a special tea ceremony and Asian history exhibit in August at the MacBride Museum!
