Sincere thanks to the people of Whitehorse for your great generosity during last week’s Churches of Whitehorse Food Drive. Many of the Whitehorse Food Bank’s immediate needs have been met as a result.

Thanks also to the hundreds of volunteers who distributed the grocery bags to people’s front doors and/or collected those bags and also to those who sorted and stacked foods at the food bank. A successful food drive couldn’t happen without your willingness to help.

We must also thank the steadfast support of Mike Sheppard at Porter Creek Super A in providing the grocery bags and Willow Printing for the posters and bag labels.

The participating churches and groups are Christ Church Cathedral, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Communaute Francophone Catholique, Trinity Lutheran, Bethany Church, Grace Community Church, United Church, Northern Apostles, Church of the Nazarene, Riverdale Baptist, Whitehorse Baptist, 7th Day Adventist, Yukon Bible Fellowship, 1st Pentecostal, Our Lady of Victory, Non-Denominationals, First Whitehorse Scouts, Rovers and Venturers.
