Employment Central thanks Donna Sippel, past owner of Sequels for initially partnering with us in the Dress to Impress program and for the staff at Sequels who do an awesome job of attracting donations. Thanks also to Tracy McLellan, new owner of Sequels, who has agreed to continue our partnership.

Going to a job interview can be a nerve-wracking experience and wearing a new outfit can boost confidence. If an unemployed woman requires an outfit to wear to a job interview, she can approach Employment Central and we can provide a referral to select an appropriate outfit at Sequels.

Donations for the program come from as far away as Ottawa as Larry Bagnell, our Member of Parliament continues to bring back clothing from Parliament Hill for our Sequels account. Thanks to you, Larry! You never know who may have worn the outfit on the “Hill” that you just purchased. A huge thank you to the many women from Whitehorse who have donated clothing to the program. Without your generosity and good will, this program would not exist.

If you are a woman who could benefit from a referral to Sequels, please drop into our office at #202-204 Black Street.
