I was reading some the online comments on the destruction of the snow sculptures.

I agree we’ve all done stupid things; I also agree such an act shows a lot of disrespect. I do not agree the names of the offenders should be published, as I think this could cause members of the public to react inappropriately.

I’d also like to see the teens get community service, but not so much as a punishment but as a way to get them engaged with the community – to help build that respect in themselves and respect for others.
