I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and find nothing more joyful and memorable than seeing wildlife on the road as I drive through corridors where they live.
I cannot imagine that someone would shoot one of these animals, regardless of whether or not it is legal. And if it is legal, the law should be changed.
The person who took this bear was not “hunting.” It took no skill. It took no stealth. It was just drive up and shoot!
The laws need to be changed. Shame on whoever killed this bear. Let’s not let it happen again.
