Open letter to the Peel Planning Commission:
I understand that there are reports of some political meddling in the protection of the Peel Watershed. I find it shocking that crucial public values would be sacrificed for the political interests of a few. I hope that you will proceed with planning in the interests of both local residents and Canadian citizens more broadly and protect more than 50 per cent of the watershed for biodiversity and the recreational and cultural values associated with intact ecosystems.
