Thanks Chuck, I’ve figured out the Conservative stimulus package – send idiotic weekly missives in the mail; that in itself should generate jobs for copywriters, printers, folders and delivery persons, as well as keep your minions busy.

On a serious side, I find it disturbing that Chuck “Chuck” Strahl spends government funds (i.e. taxpayers’ money) on what is purely political propaganda during a nonelection! As far as I know, the “government” includes different representatives from all the regions and parties of the country, not just the Conservative wing. Let’s not forget 60 per cent voted for representation other than the Conservatives. Surely political dogma should be paid for by the Conservative Party and not the government. Perhaps the party’s dwindling funds need to be kept in reserve for the future parting gifts a la Brian Mulroney?!

The only thing that these little Conservative love notes tell me is that Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Chuck “Chuck” Strahl are afraid, very much afraid of Michael Ignatieff. I say spend our money on improved social programs and health care for starters, and keep it in Canada.

And on another note, not to detract, but what’s with Northern and Indian Affairs? When are we going to change that to Northern and First Nation Affairs? Unless Chuck “Chuck” Strahl, Minister of Northern and Indian Affairs, represents those large communities of East Indians in Brampton, Surrey and Burnaby?
