During the week of October 1 to 9, we toured throughout the Yukon from Dawson to Watson Lake. Our tour included house concerts, school performances, guitar and songwriting workshops as well as two fund-raising events for the Atlin Music Festival and the Swaziland Education Trust in Whitehorse. We would like to thank all the people who came out to these events, supported us and shared our music.
In particular, we’d like to thank Steve Gedrose of Music Yukon, John Kilmer and Heather Kennedy in Atlin, Simi Morrison at the Marsh Lake Community Center, Mike and Gail Craigen in Marsh Lake, Peter Menzies in Dawson, Melissa Valja in Teslin, Barry and Susan Drury in Watson Lake, James Miller and Dave White at CBC, Barbara Chamberlain at Ravensong B&B, Whitehorse Subaru, Rev. David Pritchard in Whitehorse, and the Yukon News for promoting these events.
We had a great time, met fabulous people and enjoyed playing for genuinely appreciative Yukon audiences. It is our intention to come back sooner than later.
